Furniture Upcycling
On our Furniture Upcycling project, clients transform donated items and furniture into bespoke, hand finished pieces.
At the start of the project you will choose an item to upcycle and the tutor/staff member will discuss the different colour and finish options available. There is also a portfolio of furniture upcycling ideas that you may use for inspiration.
Depending on the piece of furniture chosen, this may need to be sanded, painted, waxed or varnished. You may also use ready-made stencils or carbon paper to create your own design. Upcycled products are then sold in the Acorn shop.
